Topic: Eye Creams
Ole Henriksen is a very costly line and for good reason - their products are magical pots containing life fulfilling beauty. Yeah. I'm just starting t
o see fine lines - not really visible to other folks, but terrorizing to me. I decided to give Ole's Fresh Start Eye Creme a go. There are two very real reactions I sometimes have with eye treatments: either they burn the very delicate and thin skin around my eye or they cause milia. I had none of these with Fresh Start.
In terms of texture, its a moisturizing, creamy product that falls just short of being too thick. It has no eye watering scents and doesn't leave that weird waxy look that sometimes follows eye products. Most importantly, it has fatty acids to reduce (or at least the look of) fine lines and wrinkles around the eye.
Ingredients include avocado oil, grapeseed oil and vitamins A and E.l Ole's website claims that, in addition to treating lines, it also prevents the formation of future wrinkles. We'll see about that....
At any rate, Fresh Start Eye Creme can be purchased at Sephora and www.olehenriksen.com. They are $38 for a 1 oz jar, but I've seen them in sets on HSN, so you may want to wait until they roll those around again to get a better deal. I think I'm going to put this to the ultimate test and do a month long Left Face/Right Face using this on one side and Cosmedicine's Instant Wrinkle Write Off on the other to see which one really does the better job. I'll let you all know how it goes!
