Topic: Wrinkle Fighters!
Now, while I really love Cosmedicine's Wrinkle Filler (see my review here)
, this one does a pretty decent job at a lower cost. This large, 10.2 gram tube will run you $26 USD. As you can see, its packaged in a squeeze tube which is, honestly, no better or worse than the Cosmedicine brush on applicator.
The product comes out as a vanilla colored cream that fades into skin in about 3 or 4 minutes. The big difference between the two is that it takes a LONG time for Too Faced to start working. While the Cosmedicine seems to almost work with a lip plumper like speed, this rebuilds and fills the lines at a much slower pace. You can get some satisfaction with first use, but for sustained line reduction, you'll want to give it 4 to 6 weeks of continued use, 2 or 3 times a day.
Both build up the wrinkles over time, but it seems that Cosmedicine gets you there faster and lasts longer thoughout the day. After this tube is used, I will be switching back to Cosmedicine.
As I mentioned above, you can get a tube of this from TooFaced.com for $26, but please don't. I've seen them come in gift sets with full sized mascara and eye shadow primer for $38. I've also noticed them showing up on BeautyCrunch.com for $15.
Avoid this for deep skin folds, but for fine lines that you're just trying to keep on top of or if this is your first foray into line filling, you may want to give this a try.
