RCMA Foundation Palette
Topic: As a Makeup Artist

I posted this under the 'Makeup Artist' grouping as this product is something most folks would have little use for - the RCMA Shinto Palette.

RCMA foundations are the real deal - they can be applied as is, or with water or glycerine to sheer it out a bit.  This is a highly (HIGHLY) pigmented line with professional grade products that can be used on stage, in print and on the big screen - it blows everything else I've used out of the water.  Each color provides about 12 faces of application and honestly, I couldn't be happier with it.

The Shinto is one of two RCMA palettes carried by Camera Ready. The other is the Ko Palette.  If you can only get one, Shinto, in my opinion, has the greatest mix of colors and will suit a wide range of clients.

If you have any questions about this palette just let me know - I love it!

Coming up next:

  • test looks
  • pictures from 2 scheduled photoshoots this week
  • review of a facial cleanser for dry skin

I hope you all are having a wonderful start to your week!

Dude, I love it.  If you want to try out RCMA foundations, I use color SH7 cut w/ moisturizer for "real life" and SH 8 for photography.  You can get samples of it from cameraready for 4 dollars (+ shipping).   Once you find the right color, full sized foundations are $25ish.

I've been a MUA for awhile now and its been great!  I get to do two things I love: history and makeup!

I'm in between two shades in RCMA and I'm wondering if I can melt them down slightly and mix them warm (since they're so pigmented that they're hard when room temperature) and then let them set back hard again. (I HATE mixing every morning for myself!) Do you think that would mess up the texture?  (I'd be careful not to let it get too hot, obviously!)
