Topic: Clean|Removers
Correctionist Purifying Milky Cleanser is actually a product of parent company Ardell - yeah, the lash guys. The box claims that it removes all traces of makeup while "detoxifying and oxygenating the skin."
2 huge goals - let's break them apart...
Removing Makeup: FAIL! This cannot remove basic powder, let alone foundation. I had to scrub and scrub and scrub to get the makeup off. Even then, a good
deal of it still showed up on my cotton round after using toner.
"Detoxifying and oxygenating the skin": Ok, uh...well... it does have Detoxyl and Shea Butter - both of which repain skin damage and increase cell turnover so in that sense your face is renewed. It certainly feels good and would be an awesome cleanser...if it only cleansed.
So what to do? If you have the extra cash, head over to Sally's Beauty Supply and pick up a bottle. Its a very refreshing wash (only AFTER removing makeup and cleansing with something else). Otherwise, just stay away.
One final note, this does nothing for oily skins, but for mature and drier skins, this is wonderfully moisturizing!
