Must...stop...shopping...
Topic: Hauls
Here is the 2nd half of an online haul. So far, I'm completely in love with everything in the picture:
- Smashbox's Smashing Transfer
- MAC's Mineralized Skinfinish in Dark
- Laura Mercier's Blushing Apple Blush
- Laura Mercier's Illuminating Powder in Candlelight
- Dior Gloss in Microfiber Brown
- YSL's Lip Twin in Raspberry Violet
- PosieTint sample by Benefit from Sephora
I reviewed the Mineralized Skinfinish here and will review the other products when I've used them for a bit. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Topic: Hauls
I had no intention of buying these items...really, I didn't. However, after an awesome round of online shopping, I couldn't wait for my items to arrive. I figured a quick trip to the grocery store would help tide me over until my goodies arrived in the mail.
- L'Oreal Color Juice Stick in Watermelon Ice
- L'Oreal Endless Kissable Lipcolor
- Wet N Wild Diamond Brilliance Lip Sheen in Baby's Got Bling
- Wet N Wild Diamond Brilliance Lip Sheen in Shannon's Shiny Bit

The Wet N Wild's are predictably tacky to the touch, but I do love the colors. L'Oreal's Endless Kissable line is designed as a zero-transfer meant to last all day and be anti-fading...we'll see how that goes. The L'Oreal Color Juice is billed as a "sheer buildable color," and I love it already. Now, I just have to manage to NOT buy anything else until my packages arrive...

Thank You!
Topic: Hauls
This week in the mail, I got an absolutely lovely package from JesMakeup filled to the brim with tons of items. Here are a couple of pics:

The package had everything from Stila and Smashbox to Almay and NYX - it was just awesome! Again, thank you so much - I'll have a great time playing with all my new goodies.

My Pretty Pink Box
Topic: Hauls
If you haven't heard of this company, My Pretty Pink Box allows you to purchase several samples of beauty products from one source at one price. I thought I'd post what was included in this month's box so you can decide if you want to try one. I got the box for $11, figuring that a mascara would be included and I've happily paid double that for a one. The items arrived in...you guessed it...a pretty pink box:
Inside, I had a mix of small samples, larger samples and full sized products:
Items included a full size Vanity Mark Mascara, 2 Brush Guards, a full size natural eyeliner, an ELF facial whip, a deluxe sample of EO body lotion and smaller samples of Mark eyeshadows, Mark face creams, AllDay Lipstick and body creams from Borghese and Garden Botanika. I haven't had a chance to try any of these items yet but I did want to share since there have been so many questions on the net about it. Hope this helps someone!

Goldie Nail Polish
Topic: Hauls
Aren't these adorable? I found them at TJ Maxx for $4 and after just looking at the bottle I had to have them. Goldie is a brand carried by Bath and Body Works and, in true TJ Maxx fashion, they got the overstock on sale at discount. I'm adding them to my list of 'untrieds' and will post a pic when I get around to using them.
Also, yesterday we were cleaning out the garage when Judgy McJudgingYou came out to grade our work:
...from the look on her face you can assume that we failed.

Sephora Haul
Topic: Hauls
Running out of makeup remover, I had to make a quick Sephora order. It was amazingly hard not to get any color products but I managed. Here's the damage:
Clinique rinse-off foaming cleanser, Sephora's daily brush cleanser, 3 standard samples (will be used as swap/package add-ins), the Versace lotion/bath/fragrance BI award and finally I had to add in a Sephora Girl's nail duo to kick in free shipping. Here's a close up of the glitter end of the polish
So that's it - crisis averted - not too much damage done. I'm off to the gym. I hope you all are having a wonderful Monday!

So clearly...this makeup no buy is leading me to spending more on nail stuff
Topic: Hauls
Yeah...just what the title says. Anyway, here's what I came away with today. First, I found these at a local beauty supply store. I have no idea how they will turn out, but they look great in the bottle!

I'm also purchased these for $1.50 a pop and hope they work out well for Konading.
Also....I did do a liiiiiitle non makeup buy: DALEKS!!!!!

MAC + Colorama Nails and More Cheap Thrills
Topic: Hauls
If you read yesterday's post, you know how 'blah' I am about Mac's Violet Femme on it's own. Yesterday afternoon I added a bit of Maybelline's Colorama in Sonic Sunset and I just fell in love.
This Colorama provides bright orange holo flakies that give a beautiful 3D look to the nails. You can find them in 3 packs at Dollar Trees and it's worth picking up a pack (especially a pack with Sonic Sunset). Here are the ones that I've been able to find so far:
Also here are some more cheap nail thrills I found at Walgreens: Nivea Soft Creme and Sinful Colors nailpolish in Snow Me White and Love Nails.

The Nivea is a win/win for me as 1) I have always loved the Nivea/Labello brands and 2) I collect little tin containers. I haven't had the chance to try it yet as I'm currently working my way though several small Nivea Creme containers :) I imagine this is going to be a lighter version of that Creme, but we'll see. As for the nail polishes, they.are.great.
Snow Me White is a pure white cream that is thick enough to be used with my new FauxNad plates (scroll down to see what I'm talking about). To clarify, I'm not wearing it in this pic, I'm wearing L'Oreal Space Cadet on my thumb. At any rate it was a total score to find Snow Me White, because the speciality white Konad polish is stupidly expensive. The blue, Love Nails is...just....ok. I don't really wear metallics on my hands, but it make a surprisingly awesome pedicure. Then, just to to be cheeky, I used my Konad plate to add a white skull and crossbones to my big toe over Love Nails. I'm not addicted to Konading yet and I don't know that I ever will be, but it's a fun little secret sin to have a white skull on my toe.

Sneak peek haul
Topic: Hauls
Part of a major haul - I expect the rest of the items to be in by Thursday, but I wanted to give you a little peek. Be on the lookout for the full haul on youtube! This Rosebud Salve I had to have. Listen: had.to.have. I love old tins and this style just called to me. OH, the product inside is just as amazing - it's the perfect purse piece. The back reads: This is the original and only Rosebud...which can be used as an all purpose skin preparation. It aids in the relief of chapped skin, diaper rash, blemishes, detergent burns, rough cuticles and it softens rough hands. Wow! That's a whole lotta something for $5. This item is available at www.beauty.com
This my mother picked up for me - she knows I'm a new fan of Lancome and, hey, adult children need love too! It was such a good offer that she purchased multiple sets!
-Quad: Latte, Off the Rack, Bikini Golden, Guest List -Lipstick: Pink Organza -Lipstick holder -Definicils Mascara -Renergie Firming Cream -Primordiale Cell Defense
