Topic: Everyday Makeup
We all love makeup, but there are times when you really don't need to look painted, just put together. During these situations, you want to fall somewhere in between these two types of women:
Naturally Beautiful - The Look: No makeup. They don't need any cosmetic assistance. Grrr....
The Huntress - The Look: Full makeup - personifies FIERCE.
I'm not hunting, but I do want to look decent enough that friends and family don't shun me. Here's what I use for a no makeup look:
- MSF Natural in Dark - I use this as an all over face power. MSF Naturals allow for a slight sheen and don't leave the face looking unnaturally matte. Read my full review here.
- MSF Natural in Deep Dark - I use this for light contouring.
- MSF in Shooting Star - an eyewash. The idea here is to use a color very similar to your skintone with a hint of shimmer. Other options from fair to dark are: Shroom, Evening Aura, Patina, Time & Space and Tempting.
- Besame Mascara - you want something that creates natural length, not volume.
- Besame Eyeliner - Black or brown, depending on skintone.
- Estee Lauder Illuminator - use an Illuminator over or instead of a regular concealer as it reflects light creating a more youthful appearance.
- MAC Blush in Margin - creates a natural sheen instead of a blatant blush look.
- Too Faced Wrinkle Injection - fills laugh lines. The only other one I'd recommend now is made by Cosmedicine. Here is my full review.
By using just 8 items (and really #'s 2 and 6 are optional) you can create a look that's always appropriate and, most importantly, always classy.
