Topic: Photoshoots
Well, I had an absolute blast - great model, great photographer and killer location. The model was a newbie, but put his whole heart into it and you could really tell that in the prints. The photographer, Sarah at Sweet Trade Photography, was just as wonderful to work with - a real gem.
In a curious move, instead of being just the makeup artist, I was also a model in a couple of sets. It was an...interesting experience lol. I've always appreciated the hard work that models have to put in, but now I have a huge well of empathy from which to pull. These guys and dolls have to go out and give 100% all the time and Lord love them for it! For me, it was a great experience, but I'm quite happy to remain BEHIND the camera for every shoot from now until the end of time!
I hope to have the pictures back before the weekend and I'll post a couple when they arrive.
